If you have visited one of the above agencies you may already have an application on CEL. Please call 209-953-2121 or 209-468-9245 to make sure that your application doesn’t already exist on CEL before completing a CEL application either online through this web site or by a printed hard copy.
If you have not visited one of the agencies listed above, you may click the link "Begin Online Application" to the left of the screen to complete an online CEL application or you have the option to print the CEL application and mail it to CEL. The CEL address is located on the Main Application near the signature section.
Printed CEL Application
If you choose to print out the CEL application and mail it in to CEL, please be sure to print out both the Main Application and Child Form. The Child Form should be completed for every child in the home even if they do not need child care or preschool services. If you do not complete a Child Form for every child in the home this may risk your chances for being called when a vacancy becomes available. The CEL is not a first come, first serve list – it is prioritized by family size and total monthly income.
